“It’s not about your reflection, it’s what you see beyond it.”-Nicole Hacohen, World Class Cyclist and Pace Logistics Coordinator
Pace Overwatch Logistics Coordinator @Nicole Hacohen knows what it takes to push beyond mental, physical, and professional limits. The only Guatemalan woman to qualify for a World Championship in cycling, Nicole radiates relentless determination, discipline in training and preparation, passion, and resilience. She brings extraordinary energy and focus to every challenge she takes on, in cycling and in her work at Pace.
Highlights of her cycling career include multiple podiums at UCI (The Union Cycliste Internationale) Cups, including 3 gold medals at T-Town USA, and a top 8 finish at UCI World Cups. She was the only Guatemalan to take part of the World Cycling Centre Elite team in Switzerland. She’s represented Guatemala at the Pan American Games and became the first Guatemalan woman to qualify for a Track Cycling Championship, with a Top 20 finish. Most recently, she won a bronze medal at a UCI event in Bogotá, Colombia.
At Pace, Nicole leads the creation and supervision of routing processes, coordinating with multiple Pace teams from across different states. Her contributions include ensuring smooth and timely operations. Her background in logistics and international commerce, combined with her analytical abilities and on-the-ground experience, come into play every day at Pace. “What makes me different is not just what I’ve done, but how I do it,” said Nicole. “I don’t just manage logistics – I lead routes that seem impossible.”
Work Ethic and Determination a Winning Combination in Cycling and On the Job
A brash statement? Perhaps. But for Nicole, that reflects her approach to challenging situations, exhibiting how her hard learned work ethic and determination demonstrated through her cycling career translate into service to Pace clients and teammates. “At Pace, it’s not just about executing logistics it’s about finding solutions when things aren’t straightforward, staying calm under pressure, and leading the process even when it feels complex. It connects a lot with my sports career, where I’ve had to navigate difficult situations and still perform. I bring that same mindset into my work at Pace, turning challenges into something achievable, even when they seem impossible at first.”

Her competitive nature, honed by experiences in her high-performance sport “teaches me how to operate under pressure,” said Nicole, “and to stay disciplined.” Nicole relates how finding solutions when things don’t go as planned in cycling translates directly into her logistics coordinator role at Pace. “At Pace, ‘Solving Logistics Together’ requires adaptability, teamwork, and execution at a high level, just like racing. You prepare, you anticipate challenges, and when things change you adjust quickly without losing focus. I bring that same mindset from sports, being accountable, consistent, and focused on delivering results while also understanding that success comes from working together,” she said.
Nicole and Pace Enjoy Mutually Beneficial Rewards
Pace is rewarded through great results for our clients and teammates. But the reward is reciprocal. Nicole’s experience working at Pace has provided her opportunity to develop other elements in herself. “I come from an individual sport, so I was used to focusing only on myself,” she explained. “At Pace, it’s completely different. You’re part of something bigger and being accountable to the team. That shift has been important for me. I truly believe if it wasn’t for the opportunities I’ve gained working at Pace I wouldn’t have been able to overcome setbacks in my professional cycling career, and that’s worth the world to me. Since day one, when (Director of 3PL Relations) Braedon Miller told me, ‘We’ve got your back’ I knew I was in the right place.”
“At the same time,” continued Nicole, I consider myself a natural leader. It’s something I’ve always had, and I bring that into the team every day.”
Naturally, not all Pace teammates compete in sports at a world-class level. But we believe that our passion for serving and improving lives through logistics demands many of Nicole’s qualities that enable her to be a great cyclist. It’s a competitive business, and like cycling, competition makes us better. Serving our clients and each other with relentless determination; having discipline in our approach to our work, our training, and our daily preparation; having the passion for serving others; resilience in the face of adversity; and bringing extraordinary energy and focus to each and every challenge we face in final mile, middle mile, courier, and pool distribution, are things Pace team members strive for.
