Pace Grows Nashville Logistics Services

The 617-ft, 33-story AT&T building, more commonly known as the “Batman Building” due to its prominent opposing spires, is an iconic landmark seen by motorists traveling along I-65.

Pace is proudly growing our logistics service offerings in Nashville, Tennessee. Our warehouse on Space Park Drive is located just east of I-24. This strategic location provides quick and convenient service to the greater Nashville metro area. Our Nashville logistics services include final mile (last mile), pool distribution, courier services, and cross docking. We also handle inbound and outbound freight movements for the Central Tennessee market.

Regional Logistics Services

Our fleet of local sprinter and cargo vans as well as box trucks and tractor trailers helps us provide daily last mile deliveries across the Nashville metro area. Pace currently supports retail and hospitality logistics services for a wide range of customers. We also maintain a steady pool of light vehicles providing routed courier services for the automotive aftermarket and other industries throughout Nashville and its surrounding suburbs.

Pace’s ample Nashville warehouse space allows us to offer pool distribution, cross dock, and warehousing services for multiple customers. Our 27,500 square foot facility located at 619 Space Park Drive features eight dock doors. We also provide e-commerce logistics and delivery services directly from our customers’ Nashville sort, fulfillment, and distribution centers.

Historical Roots

The Nashville area is home to almost two million people. It is one of the fastest-growing regions in the country, and the largest in Tennessee. Early pioneers founded Nashville in 1779. They named the city for Francis Nash, a general of the Continental Army who served heroically during the Revolutionary War. Nashville grew quickly in its early years due its strategic location on the Cumberland River and major railroad. Logistics services have contributed to Nashville’s success since its founding.

Legendary Music

Many people consider Nashville the home of country music. This recognition has earned it the nickname “The Music City”. Nashville’s recording industry grew rapidly during the first part of the 20th century. Popular broadcast shows like the Grand Ole Opry helped expose country music to audiences across the country. The Opry is still the longest running radio broadcast in American history with live performance throughout the year. The Country Music Hall of Fame also calls Nashville home. With Memphis blues to the west, and mountain bluegrass to the east, Nashville anchors Tennessee’s rich musical tradition.

Exceptional Talent

Many people call Nashville “the Athens of the South” due to its many institutes of higher learning. In fact, Centennial Park features a full-scale replica of the original ancient Parthenon from Athens, Greece. The city’s many colleges and universities include Vanderbilt, Tennessee State, Fisk, Trevecca Nazarene, Lipscomb, and others. Belmont University’s top-rated music and music business programs consistently produce some of America’s top musical talent. In addition to education and entertainment, Nashville hosts many top companies in the healthcare, banking, automotive, retail, and hospitality industries.
