  • Deliver and pick up products from customers and Pace facilities according to established safety procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure good customer relations by consistently delivering orders on time and behaving with integrity in a courteous and professional manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor a team of drivers, independent contractors, fleet and equipment that operates 7 days a week.
  • Assist in managing operations to budget.
  • Assist in analyzing operations and service performance metrics to achieve optimum levels.
  • Ability to comply with DOT/FMCSA/OSHA regulations and requirements.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, dock coordinators and on-site yard personnel.
  • Oversee and/or complete timely administration of reporting to our corporate office and our customers.
  • Strategically manage to the business model.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • 1-3 years of dock leadership experience.
  • Routing experience.
  • Experience with scanners and basic understanding of dispatch operating systems.
  • Ability to identify problems and provide solutions efficiently.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage a team.
  • Knowledge DOT/FMSCA/OSHA regulations and requirements.
  • Management experience in the Transportation/Logistics field.
  • Strong customer service skills to include building new relationships and growing current ones.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This position provides key support for the warehouse as well as delivery services. The position is responsible for key roles as a Warehouse Associate, as well as handling the daily customer service aspects as a delivery driver. In addition, this position maintains positive and ongoing relationships with external customers and freight partners.
  • Loading and Unloading various types of freight onto trucks and vans
  • Lifting and Sorting orders to be shipped
  • Use of technology including scanners
  • Ensure warehouse is accessible and safe for customer traffic
  • Making routed deliveries regularly
  • Practice safe and efficient driving habits.
  • Ability to multi-task various functions simultaneously
  • Build relationships with customers to ensure continued operating improvements
  • Communication at all organizational levels
  • Use of computers including Microsoft Office and other programs.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Valid Driver's License with F Endorsement
  • Prior Box Truck/Delivery Truck Experience
  • Forklift Certified preferred and ability to operate
  • Ability to communicate with Customers and at All Organizational Levels
  • Excellent Driving Record
  • Must be willing to work flexible schedule.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations.
  • Able to operate a forklift (prefer certification)
  • Must be skilled in operating box/straight trucks and cargo vans
