“In every day, there are 1,440 minutes. That means we have 1,440 daily opportunities to make a positive impact.” – Les Brown, Author

Pace Nashville Logistics Supervisor Shonya’ Roberson says it’s the “family- like culture” shared by her team that delivers the exceptional customer experience they are known for. “We’re able to depend on each other and that makes our work easier and better,” Shonya’ said. “The feeling of accomplishment and knowing that we contributed toward making someone else’s day better, or solved a problem, charges us up and makes us want to do that over and over again.”
With Pace for 4 years, Shonya’ has consistently demonstrated her penchant to serve relentlessly – a Pace Core Value – and was recently named a Pace Quarter 4, 2025 Culture Warrior. “Being a person to call on is always a great feeling,” she said. “Our team treats every opportunity to help and serve our customers seriously.”
Doing the right thing is another Pace Core Value. When asked, Shonya’ was clear. “Being a person with integrity was a big part of growing up in my family,” she answered. “To have integrity, a person must always do the right thing. Here in Nashville, our team holds each other accountable. Not only our successes, but also our mistakes, to make sure the next decision is the right decision.”
Shonya’ has a direct approach toward self-improvement. “I ask for constructive criticism and learn from other Pace team members,” she said. “Communicating with team members from different departments and positions is a great way to learn and improve my skills.”
When she’s not helping her Pace teammates or customers, Shonya’ winds down by crocheting and listening to music while making blankets. She also loves to cook. “I’m a big foodie,” she reports.
Shonya’ loves working with her Nashville teammates servicing the needs of Pace customers. She aspires to learn and grow into more roles in the company, looking to find new avenues for the feelings of accomplishment we have in making someone’s day better.
