“Life’s most persistent and urgent question is: What are you doing for others?” – Martin Luther King Jr.
Pace Culture Warrior and Driver Jeff Sanders says that a workday at Pace is never average. “Something always changes. It’s always a challenge, that’s why I like it.”
Jeff’s nominator for Culture Warrior remarked that Jeff has overcome incredible odds, and he keeps on going. For Jeff, serving relentlessly is a personal passion. Citing an example from several years ago, Jeff remembers, “The power went out in our warehouse. We were working to sort and deliver the nightly Amazon freight. It was just pitch black, so we went to Walmart and bought headlamps for the crew. What was normally a 5-hour job took us 19 hours in the dark with the headlamps, but we got all the freight off the dock! That was a wild night I will never forget.”
Originally from Byhalia, Mississippi, Jeff was a backup driver for another carrier, when Pace recognized his talents and hired him. “The Pace core values are dead on. I use them in my personal life as much as I do in my professional one!” remarks Jeff. Congratulations to Pace Driver Jeff Sanders on a well-deserved Culture Warrior award!
